We have been providing online music therapy sessions throughout the Covid Pandemic in order to continue to give support to our clients during these difficult times.
We are very grateful to everyone for their support this year.
Our Aviva Crowdfunder campaign raised a fantastic £1,439 (including Gift Aid). Many thanks to all our supporters who gave so generously and helped us set up our digital music therapy service.
In the summer we received the brilliant news of a Covid 19 Emergency Fund grant from the Steve Morgan Foundation. This grant helped us expand our digital service, including buying much needed equipment.
We were delighted to receive a grant from the National Lottery Coronavirus Community Support Fund, part of the Government’s £750m support package for charities. This grant has helped us continue to develop the digital service and plan a new outreach programme. More news of this exciting project to follow!
It has also been wonderful to have had support from ‘LCR Cares’, the Liverpool City Region Covid 19 Community Support Fund (managed by Merseyside Community Foundation). This grant has helped us with the essential core costs of running our service and enabled us to provide music therapy sessions to a wide range of people, including face to face sessions where this has been possible. Music is a wonderful tool for bringing people together even whilst maintaining social distancing. There has been a big increase in the need for emotional and mental health support over the last year.
A VERY BIG ‘THANK YOU’ TO EVERYONE!
